Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at River Park Post Acute for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and they offer a variety of activities to keep residents engaged.

The care at River Park Post Acute is decent, but there have been some communication issues at times. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but I wish there was more consistency in their responses to our concerns. The facility could also use some updating, but overall it's a decent option for post-acute care.
