Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Catalina were amazing! They were so patient and caring with my grandmother, who was recovering from a stroke. She made great progress thanks to the therapy services they offered. I would definitely recommend this facility.

The facility itself was clean and well-maintained. However, the food could be better. It was bland and not very appetizing. Overall, I think it was a decent experience, but I wish the food was more appealing.

My dad was in need of rehabilitation after a hip replacement, and Catalina was the perfect place for him. The therapists were very skilled and helped him regain his strength and mobility. The staff were always attentive and responsive to his needs. I am so glad we chose this facility.
