Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Valley Pointe for a few months now, and we are very happy with the care she has received. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. We appreciate the communication from the staff and the ease of scheduling visits.

I was impressed with Valley Pointe from the moment I walked in. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the facility was bright and cheerful. The activities program is great, and my mom has made several new friends. I highly recommend Valley Pointe!

The care at Valley Pointe is okay, but I've found the communication with the staff to be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting all the information I need, but other times I'm left wondering what's going on. The facility itself is clean and comfortable, but the activities program could use some improvement.
