Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I was very impressed with the level of care my mother received at New Vista. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and they always went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and well cared for. The facility itself was clean and well-maintained, and the activities program was excellent. I would highly recommend New Vista to anyone looking for a post-acute care center for their loved one.

New Vista is a true gem! The staff is so caring and compassionate, and they really make you feel like family. The food is delicious and the activities are fun and engaging. My father has been here for a few months now, and he is thriving. He's made great progress with his rehabilitation, and he's so happy here. I can't thank the staff at New Vista enough for the excellent care they provide.

The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. However, I did find that the communication between the staff and family members could be improved. There were times when I was not kept updated on my mother's progress, and I had to follow up with them myself. Overall, it's a decent facility, but there is definitely room for improvement.
