Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Pacific Heights Transitional Care Center is truly amazing. They were so patient and caring with my grandmother, helping her regain her strength after her surgery. The facility is clean and comfortable, and the food is actually pretty good! I would definitely recommend this center to anyone needing transitional care.

I was worried about my dad going to a transitional care center after his hip replacement, but Pacific Heights put my mind at ease. The nurses and therapists were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They made sure he was comfortable and progressing well. Plus, he loved the activities they organized - it kept him engaged and social.
