Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother was at Apple Rehab Cromwell for a few weeks after her hip surgery. The staff were amazing, so kind and caring. The physical therapy was great and she made good progress. The food was good too! I would definitely recommend this facility.

The therapists at Apple Rehab Cromwell were very helpful in getting me back on my feet after my stroke. They were patient and encouraging, and I felt like I made good progress. The only thing I would say is the rooms could be a little more updated.

My mother was at Apple Rehab Cromwell for a short period of time. The staff seemed nice but it was hard to get a hold of them sometimes. The facility itself was okay, but I've seen better. I would say it's a decent option if you're looking for a rehab center in the Cromwell area.
