Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Deanwood are absolutely incredible. They are so kind, caring, and patient with my grandmother. She has made such great progress since she started her rehabilitation here. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for excellent care.

I was impressed with the level of care my father received at Deanwood. The therapists are very skilled and helped him regain his strength and mobility. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the food is good.

Deanwood is a decent facility, but it could use some improvements. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there were times when it was difficult to get in touch with someone. The activities are good, but I wish there were more options.
