Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Bay Terrace for several months now, and I couldn't be happier with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she is comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I would highly recommend Bay Terrace to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved one.

The physical therapy at Bay Terrace has been a godsend for me. I was having trouble walking after my surgery, but the therapists worked tirelessly with me, and now I'm back on my feet. The staff is very professional and supportive, and I always felt like they were truly invested in my recovery. I would definitely recommend Bay Terrace to anyone needing rehabilitation services.

Overall, Bay Terrace is a decent facility. The care is good, and the staff is friendly. However, I did find that the food could be better. It was a bit bland and repetitive. I would also like to see more variety in the activities offered. But overall, I would say it is a decent option for rehabilitation.
