Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Parkside for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff are kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to ensure her comfort and well-being. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the activities program keeps her engaged and active. I would definitely recommend Parkside to anyone looking for a quality rehabilitation center.

Parkside is a decent facility with a friendly staff, but I've had some concerns about the communication between staff and family members. I wish there were more opportunities for family visits, especially during weekends. Overall, it's a decent place for rehabilitation, but it could use some improvements in communication.
