Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Tuscola Health Care Center for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they really seem to care about the residents. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

I can't say enough good things about Tuscola Health Care Center. The staff is amazing, and the facility is beautiful. My grandmother has been here for over a year, and she's thriving. She's made new friends, participates in activities, and seems truly happy.

Tuscola Health Care Center is a decent facility, but it could be better. The food is pretty bland, and the activities are sometimes repetitive. The staff is generally nice, but there are a few who don't seem to care much.
