Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at Hampton Oaks for a few months now, and we are very pleased with the care she is receiving. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. My mother enjoys the activities and socializing with other residents. Overall, we would highly recommend Hampton Oaks to anyone looking for a caring and supportive community for their loved ones.

The facility itself is nice, but the staff can be inconsistent in their care. Sometimes they are very attentive, and other times they seem to be rushed and forgetful. The activities are decent, but I wish there were more options for people who prefer quiet time.
