Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Kensington for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they really seem to care about the residents' well-being. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is good. I would definitely recommend Kensington to anyone looking for a nursing home for a loved one.

Kensington is a decent facility, but there are some things that could be improved. The communication between staff and families could be better, and there are times when the residents seem to be left unattended. However, the staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and comfortable. I would say it's a good option if you're looking for a nursing home in the area.
