Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at the Paul E. Patton Center are truly amazing! They are so kind and caring, and they go above and beyond to make sure the veterans are well taken care of. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is excellent. I would highly recommend this center to any veteran in need of care.

My father has been living at the Patton Center for a few months now, and he has been very happy there. The staff is always attentive to his needs, and he enjoys participating in the many activities offered. The only downside is that the visiting hours are a bit limited, but overall, it's a great place for veterans.

The Patton Center is a good facility, but it can be a bit crowded at times. The staff are generally friendly and helpful, but there are times when communication can be challenging. The location is great, though, and there are plenty of opportunities for veterans to socialize and engage with others.
