Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at Toledo Retirement and Rehabilitation Center for the past year, and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they genuinely care about the residents' well-being. The center is clean and well-maintained, and there are always activities going on to keep residents engaged. My mother has made some wonderful friends and enjoys participating in the various social events. I highly recommend this center to anyone looking for a safe and supportive environment for their loved one.

The staff at Toledo Retirement and Rehabilitation Center is friendly and helpful, but I have noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care provided. There have been instances where my grandmother's needs haven't been met promptly, and there seems to be a shortage of staff at times. However, the facility itself is nice, and the food is decent. Overall, it's a decent option for seniors who need a little extra help, but it could be better.

Toledo Retirement and Rehabilitation Center is a true gem! The staff is warm and compassionate, always going above and beyond to ensure the residents feel comfortable and cared for. The activities are engaging and varied, and the food is delicious. My father has been thriving since moving in, and he has made many new friends. We are so grateful for the high-quality care he receives at this center.
