Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Life Care Center of Wilbraham for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility.

The staff at Life Care Center of Wilbraham are kind and helpful. The facility is clean, but it could use some updating. The food could be better, but it's not terrible. Overall, it's a decent facility for the price.

I was so impressed with Life Care Center of Wilbraham! The staff is incredibly caring and dedicated to providing excellent care to their residents. My mother was in the rehabilitation program for a few weeks, and she made incredible progress thanks to the therapists and nurses at the facility. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I felt confident that she was in good hands.
