Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Mission Point for a few months now, and we've been very pleased with the care she has received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always make sure she is comfortable and well-looked after. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the common areas are inviting. We highly recommend Mission Point to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility in the Clawson area.

The staff at Mission Point are friendly and helpful, but the communication could be better. Sometimes it's difficult to get updates on my father's progress, and we haven't always been informed about important changes. However, the facility itself is clean and comfortable, and my father seems to be adjusting well.
