Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Oak Knoll for the past year, and we've been very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. We highly recommend Oak Knoll to anyone looking for a quality skilled nursing facility.

The staff at Oak Knoll is generally friendly, but there have been times when communication could be better. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, but the rooms could be a little more spacious. Overall, I would say Oak Knoll is a decent facility, but there are definitely some areas for improvement.
