Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Legacy Manor for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she receives. The staff is wonderful, they are always kind and attentive. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained. I would recommend Legacy Manor to anyone looking for quality care for their loved one.

While the care at Legacy Manor is good, I find the communication with the staff to be lacking at times. I would like to be more involved in my grandmother's care plan, but I haven't been able to get a clear picture of what her needs are and how they are being met. Overall, I'm satisfied, but I wish communication was more transparent.
