Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

We chose Willow Ridge for my father, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff is phenomenal. They treat my father with such respect and kindness, and they are always available to answer any questions we have. The activities and social programs are great, and my father has made some wonderful friends. We highly recommend Willow Ridge to anyone looking for a quality assisted living community.

Willow Ridge is a decent facility, but I have a few concerns. The food could be better, and sometimes it feels like the staff is stretched thin. However, the residents seem happy overall, and the activities are good. I think it could be better, but it's not a terrible place.
