Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mom has been at Pelican Pointe for a few months now, and we're so happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is actually quite good.

I was impressed with Pelican Pointe from the moment I stepped in. The atmosphere is so positive and welcoming. The staff is incredibly kind and compassionate, and they really seem to care about the residents. My father was recovering from a stroke, and the therapy he received helped him regain so much of his mobility and independence. I highly recommend Pelican Pointe.

Pelican Pointe is a decent facility, but it could use some improvements. The staff is generally good, but there have been times when I've felt like they were short-staffed. The food is also a bit bland, and the activities could be more engaging. Overall, it's a solid option, but not necessarily the best.
