Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Washington Center are so kind and caring. My grandmother was there for a few weeks after her surgery, and they really helped her get back on her feet. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is good.

I can't say enough good things about Washington Center. They provided excellent care for my father, and they were always so patient and understanding with him. The therapists are top-notch, and they helped him make a remarkable recovery.

The care at Washington Center was okay. There were some good nurses, but others seemed overworked and stressed. The physical therapy was helpful, but the facility itself could use some updating.
