Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at The Pines for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always keep us informed about her progress. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep the residents engaged.

The Pines is a decent facility, but it could be better. The staff is generally friendly, but there are some inconsistencies in the level of care. The food is also not the best, and could use some improvements. Overall, it's a decent option, but there are definitely better facilities out there.

My father was recently discharged from the hospital and needed some rehabilitation. We chose The Pines because of its reputation for quality care. We were so impressed with the therapists and the entire staff. They helped my father regain his strength and mobility, and he is now back home living independently. We are so grateful for the care he received at The Pines.
