Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Glens Falls Center for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is good.

My father was in the rehabilitation unit for a few weeks after his surgery, and the staff was great. The physical therapy helped him get back on his feet quickly. However, the facility could use some updating, and the food could be better.

I was not impressed with Glens Falls Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. The staff seemed overworked and stressed, and the facility was not very clean. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
