Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Susquehanna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is truly amazing. They are so kind and caring, and they always go above and beyond to make sure my loved one is comfortable and well cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good. I highly recommend this center to anyone looking for quality nursing home care.

I have been happy with the care my grandmother has received at Susquehanna Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The staff is attentive and responsive to her needs. However, the facility could use some updates, and the activities could be more engaging. Overall, it is a decent facility, but I think there is room for improvement.
