Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mom has been at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for a few months now, and I'm really happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is very kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the activities they offer keep her engaged and entertained. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

The staff at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is generally friendly and helpful, but there have been a few instances where communication could have been better. My father's care plan has changed a few times, and I wasn't always informed about the changes in a timely manner. Overall, though, I feel like he's receiving good care, and the facility is clean and comfortable.
