Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing are incredibly kind and attentive. They truly care about their residents and go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good! I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for skilled nursing care.

Rochester Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing provides decent care, but I have noticed some inconsistencies in the level of attention residents receive. Some staff members are fantastic, but others seem less engaged. The therapy services are good, and the facility itself is clean and comfortable. Overall, it's a decent option, but I would recommend looking into other facilities as well.
