Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Island Home Park for a few months now, and we've been so impressed with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly attentive and caring, and they go above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is actually quite good! We highly recommend Island Home Park to anyone looking for a quality care facility.

Island Home Park has its pros and cons. The staff is friendly and helpful, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care. Sometimes things get overlooked, and I've had to advocate for my loved one on several occasions. The facility itself is nice, but it can be a bit noisy at times. Overall, it's a decent option, but I think there are better facilities out there.
