Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My father has been living at the Tennessee Veterans Home for a few months now, and we couldn't be happier with the care he's received. The staff is so kind and attentive, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure the residents are comfortable and happy. The home itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I would highly recommend this facility to any veteran looking for a supportive and caring community.

The Tennessee Veterans Home is a great place for veterans to live. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the residents seem to be well-cared for. The home is located in a nice area, and there are plenty of opportunities for residents to socialize and participate in activities. However, I would have liked to see more options for dining, as the current menu can get repetitive.
