Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Palms Nursing & Rehabilitation for a few months now, and I'm so glad we chose this facility for her. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, and they genuinely care about her well-being. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. My grandmother seems happy and content here, which gives me great peace of mind.

I highly recommend Palms Nursing & Rehabilitation. My father received excellent care during his rehabilitation stay. The therapists were professional and dedicated, and they helped him regain his strength and mobility. The nursing staff was always responsive to his needs, and they made sure he felt comfortable and supported throughout his recovery.

The facility itself is nice, but I've noticed some inconsistency with the staff's attentiveness. Sometimes they are very helpful and responsive, other times it takes longer than expected for them to address my mother's needs. I hope they can work on improving their consistency.
