Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I'm so glad my grandmother found a place like Laredo South. The staff is wonderful, always kind and attentive. They make sure she's well cared for and happy, which is the most important thing to me. The facility is clean and comfortable, and the food is good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nursing home for their loved one.

The staff at Laredo South is very helpful and they provide good care. The facility could use a little more attention to upkeep. Some of the rooms are a bit outdated and some of the common areas are in need of a refresh. Overall, I would say it's a good place for my aunt, but it could be better.
