Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Las Alturas for the past year, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well cared for. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to enjoy. We highly recommend Las Alturas to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.

I was so impressed with Las Alturas from the moment I stepped inside. The staff was so welcoming and professional, and they really took the time to understand my mother's needs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the food is delicious. My mother has been thriving since she moved in, and I couldn't be happier with the care she's receiving.

Las Alturas is a good facility overall, but there have been a few issues with communication. I've had to follow up on things a couple of times, but the staff is always willing to help once I bring it to their attention. The food could be a bit better, but overall, it's a decent place.
