Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at The Laurels for a few years now, and we are so happy with the care she receives. The staff is truly exceptional, always going above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The community is very friendly, and there's always something going on to keep residents engaged. I highly recommend The Laurels!

The Laurels has exceeded all of our expectations! The facility is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff is incredibly kind and caring. My parents have made many new friends and enjoy participating in the various activities offered. We feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for them.

The Laurels is a good option for seniors who need a little extra support. The staff is generally helpful, but there have been a few times when communication could have been better. The food is decent, but I wish there were more dining options available.
