Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at Oakdale for a few months now, and I am very happy with the care she is receiving. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always keep me updated on her progress. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and my mother enjoys the activities and meals. I would highly recommend Oakdale to anyone looking for a nursing home for their loved one.

Oakdale is a decent facility, but I have had some issues with communication. Sometimes it's hard to get a hold of the staff, and I don't always feel like my concerns are being addressed. However, the residents seem happy, and the facility is clean. Overall, it's a good option, but it could be better.

I can't say enough good things about Oakdale. The staff is amazing, and they truly care about their residents. My grandmother has been living here for over a year, and she has thrived in this environment. The activities are engaging, and the meals are delicious. I am so grateful for the care she is receiving at Oakdale.
