Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at The Blossoms at Van Buren for the past year, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good! I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for a comfortable and caring environment for their loved ones.

The Blossoms at Van Buren is a decent facility overall, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care provided. Some staff members are excellent, but others seem less engaged. The activities offered are a bit limited, and I wish they had more options for residents who are more active. However, the facility is clean and the food is good.
