Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at Van Buren Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she is receiving. The staff is very kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe and caring environment for their loved one.

Van Buren Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a decent facility, but it could be better. The staff is friendly enough, but they can be overwhelmed at times. The food is also pretty bland, but I understand that it's difficult to cater to everyone's taste. Overall, it's not a terrible place, but it's not the best either.

My grandfather was in the rehabilitation unit at Van Buren Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center for a few weeks after his surgery. He made a great deal of progress with the help of the therapists there. He was always well cared for, and the staff was very patient with him. I am so grateful for the care he received there.
