Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Maryland Gardens Post Acute are truly amazing. They are so kind, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my mother's comfort and well-being. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.

Maryland Gardens Post Acute is a decent facility, but there are some things that could be improved. The communication between staff and family members could be better. Some of the staff are great, but others seem overworked and stressed. Overall, it's a good place for rehabilitation but not necessarily for long-term care.
