Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Pioneers Memorial for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is kind and attentive, and they've really gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and safe. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good! We highly recommend Pioneers Memorial to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility.

Pioneers Memorial is okay. The staff is friendly, but the facility could use some updating. The rooms are a bit cramped and the common areas are a bit bland. However, the care is good, and the activities seem to keep residents engaged. It's a decent option, but there might be better facilities out there.

I was so worried about placing my father in a nursing home, but Pioneers Memorial has exceeded all my expectations. They've treated him with such compassion and respect. He's thriving here! The staff is amazing, the food is good, and the activities are actually fun. I'm so grateful for this facility.
