Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Peninsula Post-Acute for a few months now and we've been very happy with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure my mother is comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good! We highly recommend this facility.

I was initially apprehensive about placing my father in a post-acute facility, but Peninsula Post-Acute exceeded my expectations. The therapists are highly skilled and dedicated to helping residents regain their independence. The activities program is engaging and provides a variety of opportunities for socialization and entertainment. My father is thriving here, and I am so grateful for the excellent care he is receiving.

The staff at Peninsula Post-Acute are generally friendly and helpful. However, there have been a few instances where communication could have been better. Overall, the facility provides adequate care, but I have noticed some inconsistencies in the level of attention residents receive.
