Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Valle Vista for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend Valle Vista to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility.

Valle Vista is a decent facility, but there are some areas that could be improved. The communication between staff and family could be better, and sometimes it's hard to get in touch with someone. Overall, though, the care is good and the facility is clean.
