Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Vista Pacifica is truly amazing. They are so kind and compassionate, and they really care about the residents. My mother has been living here for a few months now, and she is doing so well. She is happy, healthy, and well-cared for. I highly recommend this facility.

The food is excellent, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I would definitely recommend Vista Pacifica to anyone looking for a high-quality convalescent hospital.

While the staff is friendly and helpful, I did find the communication between staff and families could be improved. It was sometimes difficult to get information about my father's care. However, the overall care he received was good, and I would still recommend this facility to others.
