Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Alden Terrace for a few months now, and we're really happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is attentive, caring, and always willing to answer our questions. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the activities they offer keep her engaged. It's a comfort to know that she's in good hands.

Alden Terrace is a decent facility overall, but there have been some communication issues at times. The food could be better, but the staff is generally kind and helpful. It's a bit pricey, but the location is convenient.

I cannot recommend Alden Terrace enough! My father was recovering from a stroke and the staff was so supportive and patient with him. The therapy programs helped him regain his strength and independence, and the social activities kept him from feeling isolated. The environment was very positive and welcoming.
