Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Burlington Convalescent Hospital are truly wonderful. They are so kind, patient, and attentive. My grandmother was there for rehabilitation after a fall, and they helped her regain her strength and mobility. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is good. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone looking for quality care.

The care at Burlington Convalescent Hospital is decent, but the communication could be better. It was sometimes difficult to get updates on my father's condition, and I felt like I wasn't always kept in the loop. The rooms are comfortable, though, and the staff is generally helpful.
