Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother received excellent care at Westwood Post Acute Care. The nurses and staff were attentive and compassionate, and they always went the extra mile to make sure she was comfortable. The physical therapy program helped her regain her strength and mobility, and she was able to return home sooner than expected. I would highly recommend this facility.

I was very impressed with the level of care at Westwood Post Acute Care. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and professional. The food was good, and there were plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for post-acute care.

Westwood Post Acute Care is a decent facility, but it could use some improvements. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, but there were times when I felt like my mother wasn't getting the attention she needed. The activities program was also a bit lacking. Overall, it's a decent facility, but there are other options out there that might be better.
