Hillcrest Manor Sanitarium stands as a testament to a bygone era, its stately facade hinting at a history steeped in both grandeur and mystery. Nestled amidst sprawling lawns and towering oak trees, the manor exudes an air of quiet dignity, its once vibrant past now veiled in a cloak of time. Inside, the grand halls whisper tales of long-forgotten residents, their footsteps echoing in the polished marble floors and their voices echoing in the ornate, high-ceilinged rooms. The scent of lavender and old books hangs heavy in the air, a constant reminder of the stories that have unfolded within these walls. While the manor may appear frozen in time, its purpose remains constant: to provide a haven for those in need of care and comfort, a place where healing and solace are found in the quiet moments and the shared experiences of a community bound by shared stories and a quiet sense of understanding....

Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Hillcrest Manor are truly dedicated and caring. They treat each resident with respect and dignity, and they always go the extra mile to make sure their needs are met. My grandmother was so happy there, and I felt confident that she was receiving excellent care.

Hillcrest Manor is a bit dated, but it has a certain charm to it. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, and the food is pretty good. My only complaint is that it can be a bit noisy at times.
