Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Rancho Mirage Health and Rehabilitation Center for a few months now, and we're so grateful for the care she's received. The staff is always kind and attentive, and the facilities are clean and comfortable. We especially appreciate the activities they offer, which keep her engaged and active.

I can't recommend Rancho Mirage Health and Rehabilitation Center enough. The staff is exceptional - they genuinely care about their residents and go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and supported. My father was there for a short-term stay, and it was clear that they were invested in his recovery and well-being.

While the staff at Rancho Mirage Health and Rehabilitation Center is generally friendly, I've had some concerns about the responsiveness of certain departments. There have been a few instances where communication could have been better, but overall, the care provided has been adequate.
