Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mom has been at Sacramento Post-Acute for a few months now, and I'm so grateful for the care she's received. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and they really go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I would highly recommend Sacramento Post-Acute to anyone looking for a quality care facility.

The care at Sacramento Post-Acute is good, but I wish there were more options for activities and socialization. My grandma doesn't participate in much, but I think she would enjoy more options for outings or group activities. Overall, the staff is kind and caring, and I appreciate that they always keep me informed about my grandma's progress.
