Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother stayed at Central Gardens for a few weeks after her hip surgery, and we were so impressed with the care she received. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the therapy program helped her regain her strength and mobility. The facility itself was clean and comfortable, and the food was surprisingly good!

I can't say enough good things about Central Gardens. The nurses and aides were so kind and compassionate. They really went above and beyond to make my mother feel comfortable and cared for. The facility is well-maintained and has a nice, homey feel to it. I would highly recommend Central Gardens to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility.

While the staff at Central Gardens was helpful, I felt like there wasn't enough interaction with the residents. My father seemed to be spending a lot of time alone in his room. I also wish they had more options for recreational activities.
