Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at The Avenues Transitional Care Center were absolutely amazing. They were so caring and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and well-taken care of. I couldn't have asked for a better experience during my recovery.

I was impressed with the level of care and professionalism at The Avenues. The therapists were very knowledgeable and helpful, and the food was actually really good! I felt like I was in a hotel, not a care facility.

The Avenues is a good place to recover, but it can be a bit noisy at times. The staff are friendly and the facility is clean, but some of the equipment could use an upgrade.
