Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I can't say enough good things about The Redwoods Post-Acute. My father has received exceptional care here, and the staff has been so supportive and compassionate. The facility is beautiful, and the food is excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality post-acute care facility.

The Redwoods Post-Acute is a decent facility, but I have had some concerns about the communication with the staff. Sometimes it's difficult to get in touch with the nurses, and I feel like I'm not always fully informed about my mother's progress. Overall, it's a good facility, but it could be better.
