Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been a resident at Marian Regional Medical Center D/P SNF for several months now, and we have been very happy with the care she has received. The staff is very kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure my mother is comfortable and well cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is excellent. I would highly recommend Marian Regional Medical Center D/P SNF to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility.

My father was in need of rehabilitation after a recent surgery. Marian Regional Medical Center D/P SNF was recommended by our family doctor. We were very impressed with the facility and the staff was wonderful. The physical therapists were great and he made amazing progress. We felt very fortunate to have chosen this facility. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for rehabilitation care.

The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. I have some concerns about the level of care that my grandmother has received. She has had some falls and I am not sure if the staff was fully aware of her needs. Overall, I think it is a decent facility but I wish I had researched more options.
